To my few readers out in the world, I've been missing for quite sometime and am afraid, I will continue to be sporadic. :(
I've currently been sucked back into the sewing world and though I am still doing my couponing, I've not had a heck of a lot of extra time to post about it. (especially the posts with pictures and breakdowns - it's just so time consuming). The upside is, that I'm continueing to develop other talents and learn new skills which are just as helpful as couponing.
I will though do my best to post about deals that I think are awesome and deals (like the stamps) that I've personally taken advantage of.
So stay tuned but don't be too expectant. Thanks for sticking with me and for all the wonderful tips you've given to me about deals!

Super Cheap Custom Stamps!!
Thanks to The Thrifty Mama for this tip!
Right now, Staples has an amazing deal which I just took advantage of - TWICE!
Staples is offering $20 off any custom stamp order of $20 or more! So what do we do in circumstances like this? We buy/customize the $20.99 stamp and get it for a whopping $0.99 (plus tax & shipping)
If this deal sounds like one you'd like to take advantage of use coupon code 47328. Click HERE for a direct link to all the stamps you can customize.
The stamp I used both times was $20.99 and if you want to use the same one, then follow this LINK.
After Shipping & tax my total came to $5.18 for each customized stamp.
Just think of the possibilities! You could have your address for outgoing mail, or what about your favorite scripture or quote turned into a stamp? Or it could be a gift for someone. The possibilities are limitless!
I'm not sure how long this deal is going on, but if your interested - check it out!

After Christmas Sales
How is your after Christmas deal shopping coming along?
Like many of you, I LOVE after holiday sales. In fact I NEVER buy anything "holiday" related BEFORE the day, but purchase it after the day and then save it to use the next year. It's a wonderful treat not only to pay 50 - 75% LESS than everyone else, but every year when I pull down my decorations, It's a HUGE treat to see and USE all my new treasures.
I've been busy After Holiday shopping and poor Ben just smiles when I haul home more decorations and goodies for the up coming year.
For those of you who haven't started but wouldn't mind browsing, let me tell you of some of MY favorite spots this year.
Linen 'n Things - Did you know that LNT is going out of business? Yep, all stores NATIONWIDE are going out of business. Right now you can get many things 40 -70% off at their stores AND online! I've not been to the store here in town to see what deals they have (as I'm never on that side of town) but I have done a bit of online shopping.
Some of my favorite treats were Silverware (something we've wanted to replace as our original set is missing random pieces). I purchased 2 sets which were normally $119 each. With the great deals, I only paid $31.99 each! What a great deal. I also snagged the last two of that particular set!
Another amazing deal was PedEggs. Normally $9.99 - I only paid $4.79 - great for a beauty gift basket!
I also snagged table clothes at a whopping $2.59 EACH!
William Sonoma - What Cook/Baker/Kitchen Fanatic doesn't love the store William Sonoma? Some of my most favorite kitchen gadgets have come from this store. Right now, WS has some amazing AFTER Christmas deals! They have all kinds of goodies and gadgets and tools that are all on sale/clearance. If you've ever wanted something but found them to be a bit too steep in price, check out their after Christmas clearance deals! Also remember that if you shop at WS online, to shop through ebates and get money back on your purchase!
Crate & Barrel - I love CB! And right now they have all kinds of deals going on. Stock up and prepare for next year! Wrapping Paper, decorations, serving trays etc. Shop Shop Shop and look EXTRA stylish next year at your party!
Hallmark - I went to my local H store the other day looking to stock up on these amazing plates that my MIL gave me for Christmas. When I walked in they had all Christmas and New Years on sale for 50% off! This included ornaments, wrapping paper, cards, decorations, Christmas Elf's, books etc. I walked in looking for a few extra plates and walked out without the plates but a bag full of goodies for everyone next year and some stylish wrapping paper! I got a few cute treasures to give out as gifts for next year plus a few things that have sparked a few creative ideas that are now brewing.
Target & Walmart are also great places to look for stocking up not only on decorations but lawn ornaments and Christmas snacks and gift packs! Oh and one more mention for Toys R Us. I swung over to them to check out their deals and snagged a few wii games that were 50 % off PLUS B1G150% off. So I got two games which should have cost me $80 for $30 (plus s&h).
Did you get any great deals! If so let me know, but don't tell Ben...he'll get a real shock when she sees all my goodies coming in! tee hee hee!

I'm Baaaaack!
Wow, has it really been an entire month since I last posted? Many of you have emailed/talked to me to make sure all is well as abandoning the coupon world is very unlike me! Let me reassure all of you that I am healthy and happy and fine. BUSY AS NOTHING ELSE, but wonderfully happy!!
If you are the kind of person that doesn't buy the above statement, you may choose from this list of pathetic excuses for my absence:
1. I started to read books again. Crazy, I know, but I'm trying to check off a few things on my master completely out of control "To Do List" and that was one of them.
2. I put together a digital photo book for my grandmothers 80th birthday of the ENTIRE FAMILY. This was a VERY in-depth project that required my excellent and fine tuned nagging skills to get the entire family to send me all of their photos and letters for my grandmother. This also required me to spend countless hours uploading, organizing and imputing photos from the past 80 years of my grand mothers life including her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren into a 90 page hardcover book. Not only was it a photo book but I also had to edit and upload and write a few heart felt letters that were meant for grandma's eyes only into the book as well. Then on top of all of that, my father and I had to sit down (long distance) and picture by picture go over who was who and where they were so I could also put this information into the book. In the end it was worth every second I put into it! It was wonderful to see my grandmother as a young girl, then dating, then married and in love, then to see all the hilarious pictures of my father and his brothers and sisters and then to top it off, to see current pictures of ALL of my cousins and their children. Now, unlike many of you, I do not live ANYWHERE near my family and many of my cousins I've not seen in a good 10+ years. C-R-A-Z-Y!! So it was so wonderful to see them, their spouses and their children!!
3. Speaking of family, after doing all that work on this book, how could I NOT be there to see my Grandmothers reaction to when she opened it up?! So...off I went to Salt Lake for the bit 80th birthday bash and to see all of my long lost family! I love, love, loved seeing all of the family and spending time with them. It was like no time had passed between any of us (except for a few new random spouses and kids...who I love and adore now!!) and so I figured that instead of spending a day or two, I'd might as well stay a week! So I was in the Utah/Idaho area for a week and away from Ben. (which of course I did some great deal shopping, including K-mart's double coupon days! (btw - I got a TON of great stuff for only $0.16 including tax!!) But I didn't take a picture or post so ....oh well.
4. Then for my last excuse, There really weren't any WOW deals that I saw at first glance this past week. It was a bit on the puny side and nothing I really wanted to blog about! - This is the lamest of all lame excuses - I know!
So there you have it my friends....my absence from the blog world in a nutshell. Now...hopefully I can start blogging away and regain your trust and friendship in this world of know-it-alls. :)
I'll post my first "steal & deal" tonight so stay tuned!
