This week, Walgreens has Crest Pro Health 500 ml mouth wash for FREE!! But as always there is a slight catch. It's a Register Reward (RR) item. Which means, you can only get one register reward PER PURCHASE. So if you want to purchase MULTIPLES of that item, you must do individual transactions. The other catch with Walgreens is that you cannot use a register reward (RR) on a products and then GET a new register reward. This will cancel the process out. So use your RR's on NON RR purchases and use cash and coupons on RR purchases.
For Example, The picture above has 8 Crest Pro Health 500 ml mouth washes. I purchased them all individually and did not use the register rewards I earned from one purchase on the next purchase. If I had, then I would not have gotten another register reward. It's one of Walgreens methods to get you to buy more products without giving you the rewards of that purchase again.
So here is the breakdown of my day:

Total: $4.81 (.32 tax)
RR Earned: $4.50

Total: $4.60 (tax $0.31) x 7 = $32.20 ($0.70 tax)
RR Earned: $31.50 to spend on ANYTHING I want!

Total: $7.58 (no tax)
